Here is some of the sketch book work that I have done.
As I have been struggling to do some sketchbook work I have decided to have a themed sketchbook. The theme that I have chose for this sketchbook is Entrances. So I have started off with doors that I have found when I have been out:

I draw these on a drive up to London (my husband was driving not me!) it was hard as you can imagine because of the speed that we were traveling. I was trying to draw a journey. I feel that the drawing got better the more I did. The most interesting drawings are when we went though Hindhead tunnel.

While I was wait for my Daughter to come out of Ballet I did this quick drawing on my tablet. I do seem to be getting a little better. You have to think about all the layers in the drawing and work from the background to the foreground. The marks that are made drawing in this way is interesting.
